Hi. I’m from Mississippi and new to couponing. I guess I’m still in my infant stages but I love coming to your site for the $5 challenges. I just wanted to share mine experience at CVS today.
So this was my list: Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner, Softsoap body wash, Colgate Optic White or Sensitive Pro toothpaste and Garnier Herbashine hair color. I couldn’t find the toothpaste so I revised my plan as I shopped. I didn’t start with any EBCs but it was still a good purchase.

    Transaction #1
Buy 1 Herbal Essences Hello Hyrdation Shampoo @ 2.99
use manufacturer’s coupon for $1 off
    =1.99, Earned $1 in EBCs

    Transaction #2
Buy 1 Herbal Essences Hello Hyrdation conditioner @ 2.99
    use manufacturer’s coupon for $1 off & $1 EBCs from Trans #1
    =0.99, Earned $1 in EBCs

    Transaction #3
    Buy 1 Softsoap body wash @ 2.99
use printable manufacturer’s coupon for $0.75 off ($1 off didn’t come in my regional circular; that’s too bad because this could have been free) & $1 EBCs from Trans #2
    =1.24, Earned $2 in EBCs

    Transaction #4
Buy 1 Garnier HerbaShine Hair color @ 4.99
use manufacturer’s coupon for $2 off (was a peelie on the box!) & $2 in EBCs from Trans #3
    =0.99, No EBCs Earned

Although I didn’t get any Bucks from the last transaction I had been waiting for the hair color to go on sale so I was more than a little excited to pay $0.99! I’ll be getting another box =)
