Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells, and cockle shells,
And pretty maids all in a row.

Well, I don’t have silver bells or cockle shells, but I can be a bit contrary 😉

And, my garden is growing quite well.

Except for the tomatoes.

My sweetie forgot to water them while I was gone, and the plants are all shriveled up. But, we did get a few tomatoes, and hopefully it isn’t too late to salvage the plants. If it is, well, I can just go get more!

It doesn’t help that it has been such a dry Spring for us here in southern Oklahoma… it makes it so hard on the plants and on our water bill.

The lettuce looks great, and makes some very yummy salads.

I am quite sure I will have a few pumpkins this fall, with the way the plants are growing. My basil also looks nice and makes my pasta dishes extra-tasty.

I also added a new Sage plant to my vegetable garden, planted Angelonia flowers in pots in the front yard, and put Caladiums at the back fence line.

So, “Miss Mary,” how does YOUR garden grow?
