Happy Saturday! Keep reading to see what caught my eye this week, and what we’ve been up to!

Gracious, where does the time go? November is upon us, which means Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner! HOW is that possible?

I am considering highlighting Black Friday ads again this year, so if that would be helpful, leave a comment for me with the stores you would want to see. Do any of you brave the stores on Black Friday, or do you prefer to shop at home in your jammies?

Our Week

Last Saturday we finally celebrated Cam’s first birthday with our family and friends. We had the party at a local park, and it was a lot of fun. I’m still in disbelief that my son is ONE. Gracious.

This week we have been camping at a local lake. I’m not much for swimming in a lake, or sweating, so this is the perfect time of year for our family to be camping! We have had a blast, and will be here through Monday. Another advantage of homeschooling is taking a trip when places are less crowded. I have been working many nights, and fallen asleep with Cam on one side and the computer on the other, so I appreciate your patience with me as I miss some of my normal posting. Things have been hectic lately, with my posting every. single. day. for the 31 Days Challenge. Big changes are coming, though, and while I don’t know what they look like at this time, I am excited all the same. I hope you will be, too!

Coming up

I will be sharing the chocolate cake recipe (from my Mamaw!) that I made for Cam’s party. It is sooooo good!

Have a great weekend!
