*Update: poor Denise is really sick today. Please pray for her recovery as she adjusts to caring for a newborn while sick.

Thankfully, my bloggy friend Erin graciously agreed to fill in tonight for Denise. The show will go on!

It’s Thursday again! That means it’s time for another episode of Keeping It Centsible. On tonight’s podcast, Denise and I will cover grocery store strategies. You will hear about topics like:

  • shopping for needs vs. stockpiling
  • the best use of coupons
  • electronic coupons
  • getting items for free
  • avoid impulse buys
  • big box discount stores vs. the grocery store
  • shopping at warehouse stores
  • and whatever topics you would like addressed!

Feel free to leave your questions here in comments. We will also have a giveaway tonight for 2 special callers- a coupon for a free frozen Tyson product ($9.99 value!)

I hope you can tune in tonight at 7pm CST/8pm EST. As usual, our live chat will be open for discussion. It’s always lots of fun!

Can’t make it? No problem, you can always listen to the archive anytime on demand right here on my blog.

I am so excited about tonight’s topic! Hope you can join us!

I have so many friends who insisted that I would save more by shopping at a bigger box store with lower prices rather than my smaller grocery store that is considered more expensive. So I just did a “fact finding mission” to see if I could save more at the BIG store in town verses double coupon day at the smaller store that some think is more expensive. I wrote down prices and compared receipts and applied coupons during a “mock shopping trip”, trying hard to be fair. My smaller grocery store won, because of following sales (stockpiling) and using double coupons! I blogged about it here:
