It’s Thursday! Time for all new episode of our podcast, Keeping It Centsible.
Did you miss last week’s show? Denise interviewed a special guest, Jackie Plant, the food editor from Women’s Day Magazine. If you want to hear Jackie’s tips on Making Meal Planning Work, be sure to listen to the archive, available on demand.
Tonight we are pleased to bring you another special guest. Are you the parent/aunt/grandmother of a preschooler? This show is for YOU!
The executive producer and co-creator of the wonderful show Super WHY! on PBS Kids, Angela Santomero will be joining us tonight. My preschooler loves this show, and so does her Mom!
We’ll be discussing the topic of engaging your preschooler without the use of fancy gear and expensive toys. Angela has an impressive resume including being the developer of Blue’s Clues in addition to Super WHY! She did her Masters thesis at Teachers College, Columbia University and is an expert on kids and media. We’ll hear about the tools she uses with Super WHY! to get preschoolers engaged, thinking and reading.
Do you have a question for Angela? Leave it here in the comments section and we’ll share it LIVE on the show! Or, if you have a great way you engage your preschooler – leave that tip in the comments section as well.
