Yesterday, I was excited and honored to be part of a group of moms that got to test and experience some new Logitech technology. {It was a bonus that one of my dearest friends Alyssa was there, too… with “my” baby Colin! We had such a good time together!}
We met up in Irving and had a fun morning learning about the new Logitech Pro 9000 a webcam “with razor-sharp HD video, Carl Zeiss® optics with autofocus, and a 2-megapixel sensor.”
I can honestly say that I LOVE the webcam and the Logitech software. The webcam creates a clear, distinct picture of the person you are communicating with, and makes it feel like they are really there with you! It’s incredible! The website makes the claim, “Your world never looked better,” and I have to agree. It is really a fantastic camera.
I was fortunate to “meet” Shannon (@4theMommas) via the Logitech webcam. She is a DOLL! Shannon was sweet, kind, and has a beautiful smile. What is really amazing (IMHO), is that for us bloggers, we “see” all of these people on Twitter and their websites, but do not always get to meet them IRL. This technology does this. It brings us face to face with other people we might not meet otherwise.
It is also wonderful for those of us who have family and friends overseas. The Logitech cam puts us as close together as we can be.
In fact, Alyssa and I live less than 2 hours away, but with us both having several littles, meeting up can be somewhat difficult. We are SO excited, because with our new Pro 9000 webcams, we can let our kiddos “see” each other and talk face-to-face… without having to pack up all the baby equipment!
There were several bloggers, non-bloggers, new bloggers, and new Tweeters (holla! @hillarygorman who also spoke… check out her website) attending. I didn’t get to meet everyone, but all of the ladies were so sweet!
