R and her Storytime Friend, "Bear"
Recently, I was asked to do a review and giveaway of the My Storytime Friends. I chose to review My Storytime Friends with my 3-and-a-half-year-old daughter R. We read the book together with her new friend (christened with the original name, “Bear”). R really enjoyed watching Bear’s adventures in the book. Several times, she asked Bear questions about what he was doing in the book. (Would you believe Bear “answered” her questions?!)
R and I enjoyed the book. The book was well-written, engaging, and had beautiful illustrations. I feel that the recommended ages (3-8) is right on target, as both of my big girls (A is 5) enjoyed the book and the pictures.
What I also like about My Storytime Friends is their online site. The site is interactive, and R had a good time looking at all of fun stuff on the site. For me, wanting to save money is key, and My Storytime Friends has the option of downloading the books for FREE (a member benefit). R was also excited about the coloring sheets (available for download, also a member benefit).
