Lyss and me right after landing in Nashville (with Lori!!!)

So this was supposed to be written last night, and you should have read this on Friday morning.

Yeah, um, well… I was quite tired last night and chose bed over blogging. And I’m not sorry. I was tired!

Blissdom is amazing. This conference has brought out a lot in me that I didn’t really know I had. {Yeah, my friends had a big part in that, too!}

Would you like to hear about my ah-may-zing first flight?! {You know you do, so just nod your head like a good little reader 😉 } After we cleared security (I might or might not have forgotten to remove my shoes…) Alyssa told me she had a surprise, and as we reached the gate, Lori from A Cowboy’s Wife greeted us. I was truly thrilled, as I admire Lori so much. She sat right next to us on the flight. She is so sweet and I fell in love with her!

The flight was fantastic. I really truly love flying. One of my favorite parts was as we were flying into Nashville, just the beauty of the landscape. Tennessee is a beautiful state anyway, but seeing it from above was truly moving.

I have been blessed to meet and spend time with many wonderful ladies, including Tara, whom I have admired for a long time. She is absolutely precious. I briefly met Mandi, and I am just dying to get my hands on her sweet little Doodle!

If I listed all of the amazing ladies I hung out with last night… oh my goodness. It was beyond thrilling, humbling, and so stinkin’ fun! I am loving this. I love being surrounded by so many creative and inspiring women, who have the same mindset… to become the best writer and engager that we can be!

So what am I doing today? More of the same. Meeting, collaborating, being inspired, tweeting, blogging, walking (cause this hotel is MASSIVE!), and making new friends.

Oh, and there are a million Amys here. Seriously. #Amyisafantasticname #notAmyMcGuire (inside joke).

I do miss my girls, but I am so blessed to have such a capable and willing husband. I love him so much! He is an amazing dad and husband.
