He is My Joy {11 Months}

One month from one year. Oh my.

This is what Cam looked like this time last year.

Ah, the lovely bathroom selfies. I have no shame, do I?! And I really miss that shirt I’m wearing in the 36 week picture.

This is my boy today, eleven months old.

He is pulling up on everything these days, but still isn’t inclined to walk around the furniture. That’s fine with this momma because he’s hard enough to keep up with as it is! Cam is weighing 25 lbs, and is still nursing all. the. time. I’ve searched and searched and I still can’t come up with a solution to make him go longer between sessions. He is very attached, and I think he just likes the comfort. He’s also not the greatest napper or sleeper. He will lay in his bed for maybe 30 minutes before waking up and screaming. He goes from happy to screaming. Who needs crying, right?! 😉 Cam also has 4 teeth on top and three on bottom which is attributing to his most recent fussy episodes.

We recently moved Cam back to his own room, only to have Abby Grace decide she wanted to room with him. It has worked out quite well so far, but it’s only been a week, so we will see. And no, having his own room (with or without his sister) isn’t making him sleep any better.

Life with my little man may be a little challenging, but he is a true joy. I love watching him light up when he sees his sisters, the look on his face when he goes from deep sleep to wide awake in the blink of an eye, his precious toothy grin, when he discovers something new, and how he is beginning to respond to us like a “big boy.” These are precious times, and I’m trying to soak up every bit.
