In sticking with my theme for the last few months, I am late. Late on sharing about the 30 Day Giving Challenge. Late seems to be the story of my life, these days! Ha!
It’s November 2, and we are two days into the challenge (but who’s counting, right?!?!).
What is the 30 Day Giving Challenge?
The 30 Day Giving Challenge started in 2009 with participants being encouraged to spend 30 days giving. This was no ordinary giving. Participants were asked to document their giving in a journal for 30 days. The giving could be big or small, time or money, whatever God prompted each one to do each day.
How can I participate?
Each day of November, find a way to give. It could be a helping someone financially, the gift of your time, taking food to a friend or neighbor; whatever you want to do! You can use the 30-Day Giving Challenge printable calendar to help plan your ideas.
If you’re a blogger and you want to write about the 30-Day Giving Challenge, you can link up your post on our kickoff post on Saving & Giving.
If you are not a blogger, or would prefer to just stay in the social media realm, you can check out our posts on Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter (#30DayGive). Be sure to follow along and share your amazing giving stories.
I will be sharing how our family is choosing to give, as well as, highlighting a few of my favorite charities. As a busy mom of 4, I know how limited time can be. The wonderful thing about this challenge is that it doesn’t have to take a lot of time OR a lot of money, but the rewards are immeasurable.
