9 Months

It’s hard to believe, but 9 months have passed since our sweet boy was born. And oh, the things he can do now!

He is finally eating pureed foods. It’s not been for my lack of trying, but up until a few weeks ago, he spit up everything I fed him. And I mean spit up. It wasn’t pretty. Now he is happy as a lark to eat whatever I put in front of him! What a difference a few weeks can make.

Cam now has three teeth on bottom, which makes for an adorable grin.

We are still full-time cloth (except when he is in the church nursery, but I don’t count that, as I’m not in there with him), and my mom even prefers cloth now!

My boy just keeps getting heftier, and weighs between 23 and 24 lbs. He is also crawling like a champ, and has begun pulling up.

He is still nursing on demand, averaging every hour-and-a-half. Yes, he still eats like a newborn, and my attempts to change that have failed. I’m open to ideas.

While his eating habits haven’t changed much since birth, his napping habits have. He usually takes a 2-hour nap around 10 am, and another hour to two-hour one in the afternoon… in his crib! He no longer has to be held while napping. And as much as I enjoy snuggling, I am loving the small, hands-free breaks.

Cam is babbling almost constantly now, and I never get tired of hearing his sweet voice. When he sees his sisters, he lights up, and when they entertain him, he giggles endlessly.

I can’t describe the joy this sweet boy brings our family every single day.
