My girls... December 2008

My girls... December 2008

It is so hard to believe that 2009 is coming to a close. It feels like we just celebrated the new year, and here we are again, days away from 2010.

As I think about the changes the last year has brought, I am curious to see what this new year will bring.

I cannot even begin to describe the crazyhecticwonderful things that have happened in my life this year. I am still in awe!

Life changes:
–> My blog is more successful than I ever thought possible… and I am so excited for the new year!
–> I have made SO many new friends… and I am blessed to call some of these girls my BEST friends.
–> I might be addicted to Skype. #justsayin
–> My Canon Rebel is still ah-may-zing!

Family changes:
–> We officially began homeschooling A in August.
–> I have a new niece (in the form of a sweet, beautiful exchange student from Thailand)!
–> Shane and I have started communicating (gasp!). It has been a very pleasant 6 months… the best 6 months of our 7-and-a-half-years of marriage.

Ministry changes:
–> I took a HUGE step back from the student ministry. It has not been easy for either one of us, but it has greatly improved our marriage.

Personal changes:
–> I am working on my issues with control. I do not have them fully conquered, but I am certainly doing better.
–> I finally got help for my problems with anxiety and mood swings. I hope to share more about this in the future (I just have to get brave enough!).

I have a TON of things I need to work on :D You can definitely see that if you read my Goals for 2009 post (blush).

Glad the blog is doing so well. When I found it I shared the link with my whole family and friends on Facebook…rough economic times but you’ve helped me with saving money and I shared the info with those closest to me. Thanks and have a great year in 2010!
