It’s Day 31 of my 2014 #Write31Days journey! It has been a great month, if long at times.

October 1, I set out on a big journey. There was a lot I needed to work on.

31 Days of Self-Care

What is going well

Early rising. As long as I get to bed at a reasonable time the night before, 5 am is a beautiful time for me.

Bible study. I missed one day  because our alarms did not go off and we were seriously late for CC. I was tutoring, so we had to leave extra early. I knew I was forgetting something, but I didn’t remember what that was until the next morning. Whoops!

Time management. This is one I am back-and-forth on. Sometimes, there is just so much to get done, I fall apart. Other times, I can knock my to-do list down quickly.

What I need to work on

Exercise. You guys know. If I can get out of it, I will. Ha! However, I’m a work-in-progress, and I am confident this will become part of my routine soon.

Being a yes-mom and saying no. These are on-going struggles for many, and I do not think I will ever completely overcome either one. That being said, as long as I can recognize both for what they are, I know I can face them head-on.

Wrapping Up

If you would like to check out all of my posts, or catch up on any you missed, here is what we hit on for the last month:

I missed a day last Saturday. It was one of those days where I could not catch up on anything. I gave myself grace, and let it go.

Coming Up

There are big changes coming around the corner. The blog is still going to be here, but it will be changing. I can’t wait to show you!
